3-story, fully air-conditioned, custom-built treehouse located 1 hour from downtown Dallas
Max Occupancy: 8 people. The top sleeping loft includes one king Bed and two double beds; downstairs living area includes a twin couch-bed and a twin fold-out pallet (most suitable for kids). There is 1 full bathroom on the ground level, which means guests must go up and down exterior stairs for access.
The Treehouse provides a fun and unique getaway that is only 1 hour from downtown Dallas, making it a perfect spot for a kids’ birthday party, family stay-cation, or homebase to explore Canton’s First Monday Trade Days (approx. 15 minute drive).
Kitchenette includes microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and mini-fridge.
Depending on weather/season, guests are welcome to use the swimming dock/floating island and picnic pavilion on our private lake (note: personal flotation devices are provided and required for all swimmers, regardless of age).

Important disclaimers: The Treehouse is not ADA compliant or wheelchair accessible and guests will need good physical mobility to go up and down steep ladder-style stairs for full access to the sleeping loft. Linens are provided but no housekeeping/cleaning services are included. In addition, we don't recommend the treehouse for guests under 6 years of age due to the height of the deck surrounding the treehouse.

"This is the most charming treehouse and made for such a lovely and fun trip! It was clean, comfortable and full of character! There was room for my friend and myself and three kids (ages 9-16...depending on your family dynamics there would be room for a couple of more.) There was also a couple of decks and even a lower deck with ample seating.The view of the lake and the property were gorgeous and so relaxing! Our trip was in late fall so we didn't get to swim but the set up was perfect so we will have to return! The beauty of the fall foliage and piney woods and wildlife was unforgettable. The treehouse and property were the Perfect place for bird watching, nature tracking, hiking or just to relax; It felt as though we were worlds away and It was definitely a trip to remember! Also, the hosts were readily available and very helpful! (Thank you!)
